Yes
Only enough to service locally stored configuration parameters. None that is user accessible.
No. For the display of graphic information, use Tachlink.
Active configuration information is stored at the tachometer, both TACHTROL or TACHPAK. The same information can be stored as a database file on a PC, then used as a backup, to program multiple tachs, send through email to another site, etc.
The remote itself does not carry any hazardous location ratings. The area must be made safe prior to use (not intrinsically safe).
AI-Tek does not program tachs.
Yes, however there are features on the side of the instrument enclosure that would allow secure, flat mounting to a bracket and no, we don't offer that as a kit.
No, data is recorded prior to request. The Plotting function is set up and runs on TACHLINK. Recorded data is stored on the host PC.
No, it must be set manually, ahead of time. Plotting is not linked to the alarms, so when Plotting is set, the user must make sure they input meaningful levels for thresholds.
Only one tach can be connected at a time. When the first tach is configured, save the Database. Connect the remaining tachs one by one, load in the database, save it to the Tach and repeat.
Yes. TACHPAK and TACHTROL are CE rated under 2004/108/EC. See applicable product specifications for details.
Analog Output calibration must be done through TACHLINK. If you start the procedure, you must finish. A simple, detailed procedure is available on the Technical Downloads page of our website.
AO calibration must be done through TACHLINK. A simple, detailed Procedure is available on the Technical Downloads page on the website.
The tach probably has a TACHPAK or TACHTROL 10 database installed. A simple, detailed Procedure is available on the Technical Downloads page on our website.
TACHLINK will run on Windows 2000, XP and 7, 32 and 64 bit. A simple, detailed procedure is available to aid the installation process for W7 32bit on the Technical Downloads page of our website.
External relays can be triggered by internal tach relays. An example of what can be done is available on the Technical Downloads page on our website.
The first suggestion is to switch from the old analog meter to the TTplus remote display that communicates digitally over a proprietary network with the tachometer. The second option allows the user to keep the analog meter. Use the 0-20 AO range and scale the maximum value to be 20 times the actual requirement. This will provide 1mA at the application's max speed.
Refer to the Quick Start Guide included with each tachometer or look in the manual included on the TACHLINK installation disk or download from the Technical Downloads section of our website.
